I like books.
I am a librarian and aspiring digital humanist, a voracious reader, a knitter, cat lover, a feminist, and supporter of the Oxford comma. I am the Humanities Librarian at Bates College.
I completed an MLIS at the Palmer School of Library and Information Science at Long Island University, and an MA at the Draper Interdisciplinary Master’s Program in Humanities and Social Thought at New York University. My research interests focus on book history, information access, digital pedagogy, gender, and digital humanities. Program coursework included digital libraries, collection development, academic reference and instruction, and a mentorship at NYU’s Bobst Library.
My other professional experience is in the legal field, most recently in human rights.
